How we calculate
Every amount on this site comes from the same calculation rules. They are all here, with source and date, so you can check every outcome yourself. One price list for every country, excluding VAT.

The calculation rules
- Pilot package = band project fee + number of workstations × € 55. At 100 workstations: € 18,000 + € 5,500 = € 23,500.
- NEXZOS per workstation over five years = licence € 55 + rollout work € 45 + support € 12 + 3 × € 15 = € 157.
- Windows per workstation over five years = remaining ESU (year three) € 210 + Windows 11 purchase € 250 = € 460. ESU years one and two are usually paid already and stay outside the comparison.
- Difference = Windows minus NEXZOS; plus the hardware Windows 11 would make you replace, where that applies.
- Break-even point = the first month in which the cumulative Windows costs pass the cumulative NEXZOS costs.
- Direct-award ceiling: every assessment level sits under the direct-award ceiling in every country in our data; phase 0 does not in Ireland, Latvia, Malta and Slovakia.
